Surrey Fire Service firefighters made quick work of a Styrofoam container that caught fire in Cloverdale Thursday.
Shortly after 7 p.m., fire crews responded to a fire in a barn structure serving as a warehouse Thursday (May 7) in the 16400-block of 50 Avenue in Surrey.
The Styrofoam caused flames as well as a lot of black smoke, Surrey Fire Service assistant chief operations Mike McNamara noted Friday morning, but the 16 firefighters who showed up quickly put out the fire, using a water tanker shuttle to help.
No one was injured in the blaze.
The cause is under investigation.
