The Carney government, in its wisdom and with complete disregard for the taxpayer, has filed yet another appeal, this time to the Supreme Court of Canada, over the legality of the invocation of the Emergencies Act to disband the trucker convoy demonstration in 2022. They have already lost twice.
Richard Wagner, chief justice of the Supreme Court, by his publicly stated and recorded derogatory remarks, has clearly demonstrated his bias and has been asked to recuse himself from the hearing. The Judicial Council ruled that allegations of his bias were without substance and did not concern judicial conduct — really!
So, in his arrogance, Justice Wagner sees no reason to recuse himself. In other words, the upper echelons of the Supreme Court of Canada are exempt from accountability and impartiality.
Yet another example of the broken judicial system that now prevails in Canada.

Well, doesn’t that fit into Mark Carney’s grand scheme of things, just thinking about Canada joining his beloved European Union.

Talk about an absolute disaster in the making. If anyone believes that we, as Canadians, would be better off hitching our wagon to that group of elites, better give your head a shake.
The United States will always be our closest ally. No, things may never go back as they once were, but, once Donny Boy leaves, I expect a fair and equitable agreement to align for both countries.
Maybe by then Mark’s gravy train from Quebec City to Toronto will have derailed and some sort of common sense will prevail.

SICKENING EUROPEAN OBSESSION
I’m really sick of Mark Carney’s consuming obsession with wanting Canada to have this connection with Europe.
Europe, by the way, is not doing so well lately. Carney just professed that the new international order would be rebuilt out of Europe. Really?
I recently said Justin Trudeau and Carney were the same, but it’s becoming more apparent to me that Carney is actually much worse.
