A beloved East Vancouver skatepark is set to receive some much needed upgrades. This week, city council unanimously passed a motion to resurface the Hastings Skatepark. As the CBC’s Janella Hamilton reports, it comes after local skaters raised concerns about the park’s temporary closure during the FIFA World Cup this summer.
