The Sudbury Cyclones OPL3 Women’s team is set to host North Mississauga on May 10 at the James Jerome Sports Complex with both sides eager to secure their first win of the season.
Kickoff is at 4 p.m. and a release from the team states that after opening the campaign with an 0-2 record, the Cyclones are looking to bounce back following hard-fought contests against Oakville Soccer Club and Rush Canada Academy B.
“Despite the early results, Sudbury has shown determination and will aim to translate that effort into a key early-season victory,” states the team.
Sunday’s matchup presents another strong test, as both clubs look to make an early statement in league play.
Following Sunday’s home contest, the Cyclones will hit the road as they prepare to face Woodbridge S.C. Strikers on Saturday, May 23 at Vaughan Grove.
