RCMP have confirmed the ages and city of residence of two women who died in a two-vehicle collision east of Calgary on Sunday.
Airdrie Rural RCMP said Monday the two women were 63 and 33 years old. Both were residents of Calgary.
The collision happened at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 564 in Rocky View County.

RCMP previously said Strathmore and Airdrie officers were dispatched at 10:39 a.m. May 10 to the collision, which involved a GMC truck pulling a trailer and a Ford Escape.
There were four occupants in the Ford Escape, RCMP said Sunday.
An adult male and a child from the Ford Escape were transported to Calgary hospitals. RCMP said Sunday the child was transported by STARS.
RCMP said Monday that, out of respect for the injured people, no further medical information will be provided.
Police also said Sunday that the driver and sole occupant of the pickup was transported to hospital in serious condition.
RCMP previously said one of the two women died at the scene and the other died in hospital.
An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene.
The investigation continues.
RCMP said Monday the scene was cleared later Sunday evening and the highway has reopened.
RCMP sent condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and the families involved.
