Don Bassie has had an interest in photography from a young age, with a current focus on landscape work. His wildlife photography is largely opportunistic, capturing moments as they naturally occur, and he also enjoys exploring macro subjects such as flowers, insects, and other small details.
Over the past five years, Don has dedicated hundreds of hours to both shooting in the field and refining his post-processing skills. After initially experimenting with image manipulation in Photoshop, he found Adobe Lightroom better suited to his style and shifted toward a more photography-focused editing approach, developing a strong workflow for enhancing landscape and wildlife images.
Don will be sharing his experience and practical techniques using Lightroom. But even if you use a different photo editing program you will find his techniques will transfer to and be helpful with your editing in other programs. Don will demonstrate many basic to intermediate edits and touch on some advanced techniques as well.
