CFL Flooring has been granted a US patent for its in-line bevel technology, further expanding the company’s intellectual property portfolio and strengthening its position within the hard-surface flooring sector.

According to the company, the patented technology was developed to address common quality issues associated with traditional bevel processes, which can create visible gloss inconsistencies and reduced décor visibility along flooring panel edges. CFL stated that its in-line process ensures bevel-to-surface gloss consistency and improved design continuity across decorative paneling, resulting in a more refined finish for residential and commercial applications.
The technology is currently being produced at CFL’s manufacturing facilities in Asia, including Vietnam, while US-based production is planned for the near future. The company also confirmed that it has already secured its first licensing agreement for the technology, reflecting growing market interest in the solution.
