Toronto Police are warning people about an abandoned off-leash dog that may be dangerous or aggressive.
The dog attacked and killed a small breed dog and injured the dog’s adult owner in the Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West area at approximately 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Toronto Police said.
The owner sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The owner told police that the attack was unprovoked.
Police said the off-leash dog is currently unaccounted for.
The dog is described as a brown pit bull mix.
