Golfers can get out on the links and help support local organizations at the Charity Golf Tournament in Brampton again this year.
The third-annual event will raise funds for groups like The Brampton Sports Alliance,, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15 and the Ladies Auxillary RCL Branch 15, Heartlake United Church and 8th Brampton Scouts, and others.
Proceeds from the tournament also help advance the Mayor’s Sports Fund, which works to reduce financial barriers and expand access to sport and recreation for youth in Brampton.
More than $600,00 has been raised since the tournament launched in 2024, and the city says it hopes to build on the momentum to make a difference for Brampton residents.
“What began as a community-driven initiative has quickly grown into a signature event, rallying residents and local organizations in support of charities making a real impact across the city,” the city said in a release.
The event will run on June 30 at the Lionhead Golf Club and Conference Centre. Registration is now open with limited spots available, and there are also sponsorship opportunities available.
Single tickets are $750 and include lunch, dinner and one round of golf.
