Surrey’s 11 spray parks open Saturday (May 16) with reduced hours due to Stage 2 water restrictions in the region.

Times of operation are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the city’s website, which lists spray park locations.

Surrey’s spray parks include a refreshed one at Bear Creek Park, where Van der Pauw Landscaping recently completed “lifecycle replacement” work to install new equipment.

At all spray parks in Surrey, people can activate the water system by pushing the button if the temperature is warmer than 20°C outside.

Meantime, Bear Creek, Greenaway and Sunnyside outdoor pools in Surrey are scheduled to open for the summer on May 18, with others to follow. Hjorth Road pool is set to open on June 6, followed by Holly, Kwantlen, Port Kells and Unwin pools June 27. All summer, admission is free at all eight outdoor pools in Surrey.
