Friday’s forecast calls for a high around 20 C in the Greater Toronto Area and sunny skies across southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says the morning will bring mainly sunny conditions to Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area.

The daytime high will be 19 C in Toronto, but could hit 20 C in Mississauga with a UV index of 7 or “high,” the weather agency says.

Friday night is expected to be clear with a low of between 7 C and 9 C across southern Ontario.

Looking ahead to the long weekend weather, Saturday and Sunday could see temperatures hit 25 C in Mississauga, Brampton, and Halton, 24 C in Hamilton, and 17 C and 18 C in Niagara.

Then on Monday,  temperatures are expected to reach 28 C in Toronto and 29 C in Mississauga, Brampton, and Halton, with a mix of sun and clouds expected.
