Police are investigating after a tow truck was shot up in a Brampton parking lot.
The shooting happened shortly before 6 p.m. in a parking lot near Bovaird Drive and Mountainash Road in Brampton, Peel Regional Police say.
No one was injured and police say the suspects fled the area. Police are investigating and say no suspect information was available.
Incidents involving tow trucks have been on the rise in recent months, including a truck that was deliberately set on fire in the driveway of a home in the early hours of April 30.
There was also a tow truck fire on Ascot Road in Brampton last month, and four separate tow truck fires were reported at three locations across the city just days later.
