Dubai, UAE – The Emirates – XRG cycling team continued to shine in European races. After his French player Benoit Coznefroy won the second stage of the Tour of Hungary.
He snatched the lead in the overall standings, while Russian Matvey Boldyrev achieved his first victory with the UAE youth team during the first stage of the Portuguese Future Tour, which was held on Thursday.
The second stage of the Tour of Hungary witnessed great competition, after the main group disintegrated due to winds 25 km before the finish line. In Portugal, the Emirates Youth Team put on a strong performance during the first stage of the Tour of Portugal for the Future. After the young Russian Matvey Boldyrev achieved a distinguished solo victory following an early attack, he ended it by 41 seconds over his Spanish colleague Jaime Torres. While Spaniard Ruben Rodriguez came third, 49 seconds behind.
