Business Beat: Longview fitness, gymnastics center opens; game shop to expand

Logos Edge Gymnastics Academy and Activities Center is now operating in the former Parke Way Fitness building in Longview.
The former LifePoint Church also was previously located there, and the church operated the fitness center.
Logos Edge was founded by Terry and Mishika Marrow. The husband and wife share a “passion for sports, faith and investing in the next generation,” the organization’s website says. “Their vision was to build more than just a gym – they want to create a place where children and families can grow in strength, character and community.”
Terry, an Air Force veteran, and Mishika homeschool their daughter, Amayah, now 16, who is a gymnast.
Logos Edge first opened in another location in September 2025 before moving to Bill Owens Parkway building.
“The Lord just opened the doors to this place,” said Ashley Quintanilla, coordinator of marketing, child care and events.

“They basically wanted to have a safe and family oriented facility to help (their daughter) continue her gymnastic journey. That’s what led them to start Logos Edge.” she said.
The larger facility has allowed Logos Edge to expand. The activity center offers members a variety of fitness classes, pickleball and basketball courts, with membership that includes child care.
For gymnastics training, Logos Edge offers competitive gymnastics teams and pre-team training.
“That’s one thing we pride ourselves on is the parents are very involved,” Quintanilla said.
Ninja classes and mommy and me classes also are offered, along with parents’ night out on the third Friday of each month.
Silver Sneakers is also offered for senior adults.
Three Suns plans expansion
For almost 13 years Three Suns Unlimited has been “The Hangout for Cards, Games, & More” in Longview.
Owners and Navy veterans Randall and Christine Mick started the game and hobby retail shop that offers “organized play” – think Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering games and more– and family entertainment.
The store has been inside a portion of the building at 2147 Gilmer Road, but the Micks have now purchased the entire building. They are waiting for permits from the city of Longview to begin construction to expand. When it’s all said and done, Three Suns Unlimited will be 9,000 square feet, with more retail space and more spaces for people to come together and play games of all types.
The Micks credit their 13-year-success to the community.
“The community has done so much for us and let us know what they want, and we kind of step up and do what we can to support our community,” Randall said.
Some of their customers came in as children.
“And now they have children of their own,” he said.
The store was named for their three sons who are adults now. One of them, Steven Mick, works in the store and was helping his father this past week process merchandise that had just arrived.
Customers are anticipating the expansion.
“It gets me excited that they’re happy that this is going on,” Randall said.
Construction is expected to start soon. When the work is done, the store will have to close for a few days while Three Suns gets the expansion area ready for business.
