Someone who is a “dawg” in pro hoops is the type of player who is gritty and has a next-level competitive edge. That is something Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark has shown throughout her basketball career.

That dawg showed up in the Fever’s latest win against the Seattle Storm when the two-time All-Star spiced things up. She delivered her usual performance, making impressive plays and knocking down threes. One moment that caught fans’ attention was when she talked smack to an opponent.

Clark made sure Natisha Hiedeman heard from her after the Storm guard tried to challenge her at the basket. Clark nearly stripped the ball away before it went out of bounds. She then did the popular Mutombo finger wag, and both players smiled afterward.

The Fever won the game, 89-78, with Clark finishing with 21 points, seven rebounds, 10 assists and two blocks.

Clark showed her feisty side on the court, but fans should know she has a soft side, too. The Fever released a YouTube video featuring their superstar with adorable dogs. The 24-year-old guard was asked interesting questions, but the Instagram snippet had the dogs stealing the spotlight.

Clark exclaimed how much she loves dogs.

Fans noticed how calm the dogs seemed while sitting on Clark’s lap. Even the player herself was surprised by how well-behaved the puppies were.

“Now she is the puppy whisperer. They all fell asleep on her!!!,” one top comment reads.

“The only time all the puppies fell asleep!,” said another.

“If Cesar Milan saw this video he’d be like, “her energy is flawless. Look how relaxed they are!!” another user wrote.

Many were even more impressed with Clark’s aura.

“Man they loved you, they all just got super zen and took a nap!,”

“Wow… those puppies just went into full chill mode with her. That’s aura”

“Puppies feel so calm around her. Aura!”

Clark was asked in the four-minute clip if she had any talent but said that she did not have any. Maybe she can pursue becoming a dog whisperer.
