Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair breaks all attendance records

It was a record-breaking year for attendance numbers at the 78th Cloverdale Rodeo and 135th Country Fair.
According to Josh Miller, Cloverdale Rodeo Media representative, more than 82,000 people walked through the gates of the Cloverdale Fairgrounds in 2026. Those numbers broke the previous record of 75,000.
Attendance on Sunday, May 17, hit more than 31,000, breaking the 28,000 single-day attendance record for a Sunday (set in 2025).
Monday, May 18, saw more than 15,500 come through the gates, breaking the 2024 record for Monday of more than 14,000.
Attendance in the Longhorn Saloon smashed records too, with 10,000-plus attendees entering its doors for all three nights, with all three being sold out.
Rodeo attendance peaked at 15,000-plus, with four of five rodeo performances being sold out (Friday’s show was just short).
Miller said the record breaking numbers are only compared with years that have reliable data from online ticketing systems.
The Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair had more than 450 volunteers help out over the weekend. The Cloverdale Rodeo and Exhibition Association earlier acknowledged their hard work, with a representative calling them “unsung heroes” and noting the rodeo would not be able to go ahead without them.
The 50/50 ticket sales we’re also successful this year. All of that money goes to support the Cloverdale Rodeo Youth Initiative Foundation. The organization gives scholarships to youth who volunteer at the rodeo and they also give money to other charitable organizations. This year’s winner took home more than $25,000.
As per usual, the planning for the 2027 Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair will begin in about two weeks.
