Earlier in May we asked you to get snapping as spring brought an abundance of cherry blossoms, colourful flowers, and blooms on trees and plants.
Dozens of people snapped photos and entered them in the CBC Windsor spring blooms photo contest.
Entries were judged by Mike Evans, associate producer of Windsor Morning, and these are the top three photos:

Each winner will be presented with some CBC swag.
“Oh my God. Thank you so much. I’m very happy to hear that today,” was how Amaya responded when Evans called to let her know she had the winning photo.
She snapped her top-placed photo in Reaume Park in Windsor, which she said is close to her home.
Amaya said she started taking photographs “a very long time ago,” and likes to capture the expression on people’s faces.
“My father was a photographer as well, like a hobby, so I started doing the same thing,” she said.
