The 2025 CFL season has officially reached the halfway-point, right after a Week 10 filled with fireworks. If last weekend is any indication, Week 11 should be jam-packed with excitement.

All four Canadian Football League games last weekend were decided by four points or fewer. That includes the Stampeders (6-3) outlasting the Blue Bombers (4-4) in a 28-27 firefight, and the Redblacks (3-6) out-dueling the Argonauts (2-7) in a 46-42 shootout.

The BC Lions (4-5) also upset the East Division-leading Tiger-Cats (6-3) 41-38 in overtime, while the Elks (2-6) one-upped the Alouettes (5-4) 23-22. Three teams beating opponents with superior records!? Who saw that coming!?

Last week’s results are just another example of how fantastic the parity has become in the CFL. Every team has a chance to bag a victory each weekend, and Week 11 will be no different.

The week kicks off Thursday, when the Redblacks will look to stay hot as they visit Winnipeg to face the Blue Bombers. Both teams need to win as much as possible over the next 10 weeks if they want to make the playoffs, so this should be quite the matchup. The same can be said for the Alouettes at Lions on Saturday night — this game matters.

The highlight of the weekend, though, will be the Tiger-Cats at the Roughriders. The respective leaders of each division, Hamilton (6-3) and Saskatchewan (7-1) have been the class of the CFL for most of the 2025 campaign. This could easily be a Grey Cup preview, and it might be the highest rated regular-season matchup in some time.
