Back in February, while I was stuck inside staring at nothing but snow and dreaming of green fairways and a few transfusions, I made a goal for myself: build an aesthetic golf bag.
I’m happy to report that I’ve done a pretty nice job. I’m gaming Jones’ Player Series Bag in Olive and Rangefinder Pouch in Kodiak. I went with a grey caddie towel, and while I wanted to grab a few knit head covers, I’m currently rocking a set from Titleist thanks to a recent fitting for driver and fairway woods (no big deal).
I’m still looking for the perfect pair of alignment sticks to complete the bag, but overall, it’s in a pretty good spot—at least until I saw Jones’ most recent bag drop, and now I’m rethinking everything.
Jones dropped a few handfuls of new bags as part of its Spring ‘26 collection, and the new Players Series bag in Ecru has caught my attention. So much so that it’s sitting in my online cart as we speak just waiting for my credit card info.

I mean, how good is that thing!?
Now, some people will complain about gaming a carry bag. They want kickstands or something a little bigger to better fit on the back of a golf cart. Call me a purest, but golf is meant to be a walking sport.
Golf already catches enough flak about not being a real sport, and everyone Wall-E-ing their lazy asses around isn’t helping. I get it if it’s 100 degrees out or you’re not psychically able to walk nine or 18 holes, but outside of that, you should have to walk. At the same time, I’m not one of those hardos that get on people for using a push cart. Make it easier for yourself! Hell, I have one in my trunk, too. Whatever it takes to enjoy the walk.
And this bag is perfect for just that. Plus, the tan color is a little easier to match compared to the olive one I’m carrying now, which gives me more options on the accessory front. But at the same time, the Kodiak laser pouch I already have would look perfect hanging off this thing.
With summer right around the corner, it’s time to complete your setup. Here are some items to start with if you want to build an aesthetic golf bag, too.
