How It Happened

Edmonton opened the scoring with a Jesus Gomez 30-yard field goal. BC answered with a nine-play, 73-yard drive that ended on a Chase Brice 14-yard touchdown pass to Hergy Mayala. Mark McNamee added the convert for a 7-3 BC lead. Edmonton retook the lead before the quarter ended when Taylor Powell threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Austin Mack. Gomez’s convert made it 10-7.

Edmonton extended the lead in the second quarter. Cole Snyder ran 1 yard for a touchdown, and Gomez added the convert. BC closed the half with a McNamee 17-yard field goal, leaving the score 17-10.

Edmonton scored the only points of the third quarter. Snyder threw a 41-yard touchdown pass to Jalon Calhoun, and Gomez’s convert made it 24-10.
