Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is currently showing the ongoing conflict between Abhira and Geetanjali. Abhira just wants to spend time with her daughter, but Geetanjali clearly doesn’t want that and keeps trying to turn Maira against her for her own happiness. Maira agrees to stay with Abhira, but Geetanjali gives her a month to prove herself while secretly working against her. Soon, Abhira discovers that Geetanjali had planted a phone in Maira’s bag to control her and exposes her plan.
In the current track, Maira wants to take part in a national dance competition. She initially chooses Geetanjali, but on Armaan’s suggestion, she gives both Abhira and Geetanjali a chance. Abhira wins the competition, securing the chance to perform with Maira.
As mentioned earlier, it’s not just Abhira but Armaan also joins the mother-daughter duo to perform, helping them win the contest. But the real twist makes this episode unmissable.
After their captivating performance, a bulb hanging above them suddenly bursts. Before it can fall on them, Abhira quickly pushes Armaan aside and holds Maira close, keeping them both safe. Some glass shards fall, and Abhira accidentally gets cut on her leg. While carefully removing the glass, she stumbles in pain. As she is about to fall on another sharp piece, Maira shouts and, for the first time, calls Abhira “Mumma.” Hearing this, Abhira feels a surge of happiness despite her injury. Meanwhile, Geetanjali, watching from backstage, is shocked and visibly upset.
In another subplot, the competition announces Maira and Abhira as the winners. Maira lifts the trophy together with her mother. She excitedly tells Armaan that she and her mother have won. Armaan comes on stage, lifts Maira in his arms, and shares a heartfelt hug with Abhira, creating a beautiful family moment after seven years filled with smiles and joy.
At the same time, Anshuman, with a smile, congratulates the mother-daughter pair and calls AbhiMaan a great jodi. This moment slightly unsettles Abhira and Armaan, leaving viewers to wonder whether Anshuman’s words came from his heart, hoping for their reunion, or if he was trying to taunt them.
