While speaking about season 1 of Little House on the Prairie, which will debut on July 9, 2026, the streamer announced it had already been renewed for a second season as well.
Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s iconic semi-autobiographical Little House books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier.
Miss Governor – Canceled After 1 Season
Announcement Made: March 2, 2026
Miss Governor star Terri J. Vaughn revealed Netflix canceled the series after one season.
“I have to admit, I was quite heartbroken when I first got the info,” the star said in an Instagram video. “I really worked my ass off to make that show come to fruition.”
She continued, “My heart and the intention behind the show was just, and I still feel it was just so beautiful and purposeful [and] impactful…to be able to tell those stories through that character.”
