Parker Retzlaff is returning to the NASCAR Truck Series. Retzlaff will drive the No. 62 truck for Halmar Friesen Racing in the Truck Series race at Nashville Superspeedway, as first reported by Motorsports Wire. The driver of the No. 62 truck currently drives full-time for Viking Motorsports in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series.

Viking Motorsports is a Chevrolet team, so Retzlaff running a Truck Series race with Toyota is interesting. It became even more fascinating when Halmar Freisen Racing announced that Retzlaff’s No. 62 truck will be in conjunction with Legacy Motor Club. The entry will be sponsored by Sports Illustrated Resorts, which is also the race sponsor for the O’Reilly Series.
