It certainly looks like the Canadiens’ season will come to an end when they play the Hurricanes in Carolina Friday (8 p.m., CBC, SN, TVA Sports) in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference final.
The Hurricanes took a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series with a 4-0 win Wednesday night at the Bell Centre, outshooting the Canadiens 44-18. The Canadiens have been outshot 108-43 in the last three games — all losses.
