The Medicine Hat Boxing Club sent three fighters to Calgary last weekend.
Noah Wiens, Mardik Kasarjian and Quincy McComeau boxed at an event in Calgary hosted by Calgary Boxing Club.
Wiens boxed Rishma Mathara from Alliance Saskatoon in the 75kg youth, losing what coach Kerry Fahlman called a very close decision. Kasarjian soundly defeated Joey Marino from Spruce Grove in the Youth kg. McComeau defeated Gurman Singh from Chestermere in the Elite 65 kg division by unanimous decision.
The Boxing Club is now closed for summer and opening back up in September.
