Highly touted Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Bantamweight prospect Cody Haddon returned to action for the first time in nearly 20 months and looked better than ever, demolishing Aoriqileng with a second-round TKO on the UFC Macau preliminary card this morning (Sat., May 30, 2026) inside Galaxy Arena in Macau, SRA, China.
The fight was entirely one-way traffic.
Haddon immediately imposed his grappling and physicality, repeatedly dragging Aoriqileng to the mat and controlling him for long stretches of the opening round. The Australian prospect dominated positions, threatened submissions and unloaded enough offense to score 10-8’s across the board.
The punishment continued in Round 2.
After once again overwhelming the Chinese veteran with pressure, Haddon blasted Aoriqileng with a vicious knee to the body that folded him to the canvas. Haddon instantly followed him down and unloaded a barrage of ground-and-pound, forcing the referee to step in and wave off the contest.

The victory improves Haddon to 9-1 overall and extends his winning streak to seven consecutive fights.
The 27-year-old Australian had not competed since winning his UFC debut back in October 2024 due to a series of injuries that repeatedly delayed his return. He was even scheduled to face Malcolm Wellmaker at Madison Square Garden last year before withdrawing during fight week.
Judging by this performance, the layoff did not slow him down one bit.
Haddon’s lone professional loss came against current UFC Flyweight contender Steve Erceg on the regional scene, and performances like this are exactly why many believe he has the potential to become a serious player at 135 pounds.
As for Aoriqileng (26-13), the loss drops him to 4-5-1 inside the Octagon. The Chinese veteran entered the fight with momentum after scoring a devastating 21-second knockout over Cody Gibson, but he was completely overwhelmed by Haddon from start to finish.
