Family and police are concerned for the well-being of a 16-year-old girl who went missing from the Calgary Beltline area in late May.

Investigators say Jersey was last seen on May 20 in the 900 block of 15 Avenue SW.

She is described as being 5’2″ tall, around 45 kilograms (100 pounds), with a slim build, hazel eyes, and long copper-dyed hair. She also has a tattoo on her right cheek.

Police say she was last seen wearing black clothing, including a hoodie with a pink design, pants, and a backpack with brown boots.

Anyone with information about Jersey’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The Calgary Police Service no longer shares the last names of people reported missing or shares details on the status of individuals upon being found.

The service said this change was brought forward by its missing persons team after feedback from families and those who have been found safe.
