A man has been arrested and faces an attempted murder charge in connection with a shooting that took place in Brampton earlier this month.
Peel Regional Police say the shooting happened on May 13 between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in an underground parking lot near Silver Maple Court.
Investigators allege an altercation broke out between two people before one person was shot.
The victim was taken to a local trauma centre with serious injuries.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Jessen Ebini-Kingue, 20, of no fixed address, on a charge of attempted murder.
Ebini-Kingue was arrested on May 24 shortly before 8 p.m. in the area of West Drive in Brampton and was held for a bail hearing.
The investigation remains ongoing.
