Surrey townhome engulfed in flames

Surrey firefighters battled a two-alarm townhouse fire in Sullivan Heights last night (May 30).
A freelance reporter for Black Press Media reports that Surrey firefighter crews responded to a fire in a townhome complex at 14400 blk and 60 Ave.
The fire was said to take place at 9:45 p.m. and involved two alarms due to the size of the fire.
25 firefighters attended the scene and were able to contain most of the fire to the original three story unit, but other units had visible fire damage on the side of the buildings.
Bystanders shared that the occupants of the townhome did get out safely.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
