June is Pride Month, and the City of Brampton is holding events to celebrate love, identity and diversity with music, giveaways and much more.

Brampton’s 2026 Pride festival is on June 27, and will feature live entertainment, drag performances, Pride-themed activations and more for a “celebration, creativity and connection in downtown,” the city says.

This year’s event will take place alongside the Downtown Brampton Farmers’ Market, and will offer residents, families and allies a morning of local entertainment, interactive experiences and opportunities to connect with and support the 2SLGBTQIA+ community across Brampton and Peel Region.

“Pride is about visibility, inclusion and creating spaces where everyone can feel a sense of belonging,” Brampton Coun. Navjit Kaur Brar said in a release. “Events like Pride 2026 give residents and allies opportunities to celebrate diversity, learn from one another and strengthen community connections across Brampton.”

Entertainment will include live music from Chissmiss Cherry, and drag performances curated by Equal Peel featuring Tifa Wine, Dahlia Doll and Aria Doll.

There will be community booths where guests can meet local organizations and services supporting Brampton’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies, and Pride-themed activations, giveaways, free face painting and interactive photo opportunities.

There’s also a Brampton Arts Organization Open Studio+ & QT Artist Mixer on June 24, where residents can celebrate Pride through art, creativity and community. The event invites participants to connect and create with 2SLGBTQIA+ artists and allies in a welcoming and inclusive space, and is open to all ages.

The Brampton Library is also hosting a Pride Book Club throughout the month at select branches. Library card holders can sign up online  Brampton for inclusive discussions highlighting titles written by 2SLGBTQIA+ authors.
