RUSTON, La. –– The Alabama soccer team opened the 2025 season on Thursday with a dominant 6-2 road win over Louisiana Tech.
The Tide saw goals from six different players as Ashley Roni, Cali Brewer, Avery Brown, Gianna Paul, Maddie Padelski and Soph Martelli all found the back of the net.
“Great win tonight. I thought we had some very good moments in attack. We created a lot of good chances and scored some really nice goals. To have six different goal scorers and six different assists shows that we have a lot of dangerous weapons and can score in a variety of ways. We’ve been on the road for three straight games. We are definitely excited to be back in Tuscaloosa Sunday to play in front of our home crowd.”
