Good afternoon from the ECHO sports desk here in Merseyside. not Manchester.
News now on Liverpool’s interest in Yan Diomande.
Everyone’s favourite transfer specialist that isn’t from Italy, the always snattily-attired David Ornstein, has reported the Reds have made contact with RB Leipzig over the teenage winger.
The ECHO can confirm this is true although the clubs have been in touch previously regards the Ivory Coast international.
Paris Saint-Germain also want him, but Leipzig are holding out for 130million euros. That is a lot of money for any club, let alone one that spent almost £450m on players last summer like Liverpool did.
But it’s clear the Reds would quite like to sign Diomande. His future continues to intrigue.
