A heavy police presence was seen at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton on Thursday.

In a statement to CityNews, Edmonton police confirmed they received a report of a bomb threat at the hospital around 3 p.m.

Following the threat, officers attended the hospital and limited access was allowed while an investigation was underway.

EPS was able to determine that the threat was not credible and the Grey Nuns Hospital is reopening to normal service.
