The Brain Injury Association of Sault Ste. Marie & District is recruiting teams and sponsors for its fourth annual golf tournament fundraiser, set for Friday, Sept. 11 at Crimson Ridge Golf Course

It’s that time of year again.

The Brain Injury Association of Sault Ste. Marie & District (BIASSMD) is in search of golfers and sponsors for its fourth annual Golf Tournament fundraiser.

The tournament will be held beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11 at Crimson Ridge Golf Course.

The cost for a team of four golfers is $850 and includes:

Grab-and-go breakfast
Lunch and dinner
18 holes of golf
Golf cart rental

All funds raised will go toward the BIASSMD, a registered charity, so that survivors, their family members and caregivers can have access to education, peer support programs and activities.

The BIASSMD currently has more than 100 clients in the Sault and area.

The organization takes brain injury survivors on outings.

Representatives also hold a monthly in-person peer support program meeting at the John Rhodes Community Centre and a monthly coffee social in collaboration with Spinal Cord Injury Ontario.

The golf tournament offers an opportunity for team building, networking, and community engagement while contributing to a cause that affects many lives within our region.

Those who register for the golf tournament on or before July 29 will be entered for a chance to win prizes in an early bird draw.

Registration closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4.

Teams of four may register online through Crimson Ridge.
