Following Denny Hamlin’s win in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan, there are only 11 races left in the Cup Series regular season. 

Here’s what the Chase bubble looks like through the first 15 races of 2026.

6. Kyle Larson (+124)

7. Carson Hocevar (+99)

8. Chris Buescher (+95)

13. Chase Briscoe (+41)

Briscoe struggled for much of Sunday’s race and didn’t earn any stage points, but found a way to scratch across a 10th-place finish. He gained a spot and two points on the cut line this week. 

14. Shane van Gisbergen (+26)

Van Gisbergen finished 30th after a crash at Michigan and lost 18 points to the cut line on Sunday. If he can stay above the cut line after next week’s race at Pocono, he’ll have a chance to build a gap at Naval Base Coronado and Sonoma. 

15. Brad Keselowski (+21)

Keselowski finished 34th for a second consecutive week and lost 22 points to the cut line. He’s fallen four spots in the standings over the last two races. 

16. Austin Cindric (+3)

Cindric had a very quiet day at Michigan on Sunday, but finished a solid 11th to stay above the cut line. At some point, however, the No. 2 team must show up to the racetrack with top 10 pace. 

17. Joey Logano (-3)

Logano is only three points back of his Team Penske teammate for the final Chase spot after a seventh-place finish at Michigan. He gained a spot and six points on the cut line. Ahead of two road course races, a solid run at Pocono next week seems like a must. 

18. Erik Jones (-18)

If you haven’t heard him quietly marching up the standings over the last four weeks, Jones made plenty of noise with a runner-up finish at his home track on Sunday. He gained three spots in the standings and 18 points with his second-place run. 

19. Ryan Preece (-19)

Preece finished 28th on Sunday and has three straight finishes outside of the top 25. He lost two spots in the standings and 17 points at Michigan after crashing in Stage 3. 

20. Michael McDowell (-46)

McDowell was caught up in a crash on Sunday at Michigan and finished 26th. He lost 15 points to the cut line, though the upcoming road course races at Naval Base Coronado and Sonoma should be of help.
