Langley H-Mart to close its doors for good

The H-Mart Langley store is closing its doors at the end of June, according to a notice posted on the store.

Located in the Westbrook Centre on the border of Surrey and Langley, on Fraser Highway, the H-Mart opened in 2006, and was for many years the only Asian grocery store of its size in the Langley and Clayton Heights area.

The notice on the doors says the store’s last day will be June 30.

It advised shoppers to visit the Surrey H-Mart at 10207 153 Street.

A reason for the closing was not given. The Langley Advance Times is reaching out to H-Mart for comment.

The Westbrook Centre is directly on the route of the SkyTrain construction currently taking place up and down Fraser Highway through Surrey and in Langley to 203 Street.
