The new David Lloyd health, fitness and wellness club will officially launch in St Neots in October 2026 and has appointed the Club General Manager.
The club will offer more than 100 workout stations, heated indoor and outdoor pools, and racquet sports facilities.
These include cushioned acrylic tennis courts and padel courts.
A signature feature of the St Neots club will be the spa retreat, which will include a Himalayan salt sauna, crystal steam room, cold plunge pools, and a swim in-out hydro pool.
Heated beds and a spa garden will also be part of the experience.
Matt Borer has been appointed as general manager after working with the company for 16 years.
He said: “I’m so excited to be joining David Lloyd St Neots as the Club General Manager.
“There’s already a great deal of excitement surrounding the new Club and I’m really looking forward to welcoming members through the doors later this year.
“Throughout my 16 year career with David Lloyd Clubs, I’ve had the opportunity to work across several fantastic Clubs and I can’t wait to bring my passion for delivering a great member experience to St Neots.
“I’m a keen runner and really enjoy the togetherness that group exercise classes and racquet sports bring to a Club environment.
“Outside of fitness, I’m passionate about football and support Crystal Palace.
“I also enjoy a round of golf whenever I get the chance.
“I’m looking forward to meeting members and becoming part of the St Neots community.”
The St Neots club will also run David Lloyd’s Signature Classes Collection.
These include group exercise options such as BLAZE, SPIRIT, 1GN1TE, and REBELS.
The REBELS programme is “a member favourite where parents, guardians, and children aged 8 and over can exercise together.”
Members can also enjoy an outdoor terrace, clubroom, business lounge, family zone and an indoor soft play area.
Junior coaching will be offered through the Swim Stars and Tennis Stars programmes, focusing on fun, safe sports education for children.
The opening is expected to create multiple jobs in the St Neots area across hospitality, fitness, and spa roles.
Membership prices to David Lloyd clubs vary between locations but can be up to £100 a month, whilst standard day passes can be around £20.
