The advice comes after a crash between and bike and another vehicle

OPP are reminding cyclists and motorists to follow the rules of the road after a collision involving a bicycle and a vehicle in Bracebridge.

Police say the crash happened Friday evening near Entrance Drive and Queen Street. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.

Officers are using the incident as a reminder that cyclists must obey stop signs, intersections and crosswalks, use proper hand signals, and ensure their bicycles are equipped with required safety devices, including a bell, reflectors and lights.

Helmets are mandatory for riders under 18.
