A’ja Wilson on Monday did something that no WNBA player ever has done.
Wilson keeps breaking new ground, and one of her All-Star teammates said what fans and observers often think when they see the Las Vegas Aces superstar play.
Wilson became the first player ever to notch a 34-12-9 stat line as the Aces defeated the Seattle Storm, 101-91. Wilson, the league’s only four-time MVP, also became the quickest player to 6,000 career points as she dropped her second-best scoring game of the season to date.

Chelsea Gray told USA Network postgame that Wilson is greatness personified, on and off the court, as the Aces’ all-time assists leader revealed what it’s like to witness her in that zone.
“She’s amazing, man. She (never) ceases to amaze me,” Gray said. “I’m in awe a lot of the time. Just blessed to play with her.”
“I’m in awe a lot of the time… she’s what greatness is all about on and off the floor.”

Gray also said that Wilson “keeps getting better” — which is a scary concept to think about in relation to a player who already can do just about everything.
Wilson this season is the WNBA’s leading scorer at 25.9 points per game. She leads the league in field goals made and attempted as well as shots blocked per game. She doesn’t turn 30 years old until August.
The 8-3 Aces have the league’s second-best record behind the surging Minnesota Lynx. But as long as Wilson is healthy, Vegas will like their chances against anyone. After all, this team started 14-14 last season and went on to the win the championship anyone.
That’s greatness personified.
