Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Chicago concluded yesterday and broke attendance records with 90,000 tickets sold for the Grant Park experience and 103,605 total tickets sold, a record for a Pokémon GO live event in North America. There were more than 717,000 unique active players in the city of Chicago from June 5-7.
Trainers took part in exclusive gameplay, unique event experiences, community celebrations, and a weekend of play, exploration, and connection in Grant Park and throughout the greater Chicago area. Pokémon GO celebrates its 10 year anniversary this July, making a return to the city where the first Pokémon GO Fest was held the perfect location for the event.

It was inspirational for me to see players from all over the world travel to Chicago to enjoy Pokémon GO together.”
Six couples got engaged at Pokémon GO Fest over the course of the weekend, using the Eevee and Pikachu mascot photo opportunity as a backdrop to pop the question to a loved one. All partners said yes!
