The City of Calgary is no longer moving full steam ahead with an elevated Green Line LRT route through downtown. Officials were developing a plan based on the provincial government’s preference for above-ground tracks. But on Tuesday, city councillors voted unanimously to explore and evaluate alternative alignments, including the possibility of an underground line through the core.
