If the question is, is A’ja Wilson on the path to becoming the greatest to ever play in the WNBA?

I would say I think she’s already there.

And there have been so many legends of the game.

Candace Parker, Sylvia Fowles, in the same draft class, by the way.

Maya Moore went to four WNBA finals and won all four of them.

Awfully efficient of her.

Diana Taurasi, who was probably, you know, pre-A’ja breaking through to, you know, three championships, four MVPs, Diana Taurasi was kind of viewed as the GOAT.

But at this point, I mean, A’ja and Diana have won the same number of championships.

A’ja’s not done yet.

She’s not even 30 years old yet.

And Diana Taurasi was league MVP once.

A’ja’s been league MVP four times.

It’s unprecedented.

So, you know, what, if we wanna compare the two GOATs, or at least the two modern GOATs, A’ja Wilson has done more.

And you can, you can see the, the, the comparisons right there.

A’ja Wilson has scored more points per game.

She has more rebounds per game than Diana Tau- Taurasi had.

They have the same number of championships, so that kinda puts them on the map of being the GOATs.

I think it’s championships, it’s the ultimate standard of success in any sport.

But I think the four MVPs just pushes A’ja Wilson over the edge.

Now, Maya Moore won four championships.

That kinda puts her in a, in a different stratosphere.

But I, I You mention, you know, whoever your GOAT is, is who you resonate with, is who you talked about and heard about and read articles about.

I do think there is something to A’ja Wilson being the best player at a time in the WNBA that has seen more money, more investment, more eyeballs, and more attention than it ever has before.

And that’s not something that A’ja Wilson did individually that Diana Taurasi or Maya Moore or a Sylvia Fowles or a Candace Parker or a Le- Lisa Leslie or you choose your Mount Rushmore of the WNBA.

That’s not something that A’ja did individually and personally that those players didn’t do, but it is just kind of an undisputable part of all of this is A’ja Wilson is playing her best basketball and has won four MVPs and has won three championships in a time of the WNBA that is seeing more success than it ever has in its entire existence
