According to the Ipsos World Affairs Report, Canada remains the top country expected to have a positive influence on world affairs.
Canada received a score of 80% among more than 23,000 respondents across 30 countries in the Ipsos World Affairs report. Also among the top ranked countries are Germany (73%) and France (70%).
The study found that Iran (25%) and Israel (25%) were considered to be the least likely countries to have a positive influence on world affairs.
Since 2015, Canada has enjoyed the most positive ranking in the Ipsos World Affairs report.
“Canada is seen as the No. 1 world influencer for the 10th year in a row. 80% say Canada is the country most likely to have a positive influence on world affairs. Meanwhile, 48% now say the U.S. will have a positive influence on world affairs, down from 60% in 2024.”
