Two people have been arrested after an assault on police at Toronto Stadium this afternoon, police allege.
Toronto police say officers and security personnel responded shortly after 2 p.m. to reports of an altercation in the stands during a match between Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Police say two officers were assaulted during the incident and sustained minor injuries.
In an email to CTV News, a spokesperson with the Toronto police said the suspects are two men and are apart of the Bosnian fan group. They were both charged with assault of police.
