George Russell starts the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix from pole position, but Mercedes team-mate Kimi Antonelli will not be alongside him on the front row.
The championship leader starts directly behind the Briton in third, with the Silver Arrows pair split by seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton.
Hamilton was the surprise performer in qualifying, securing a front-row start, while his Ferrari team-mate Charles Leclerc crashed out in Q3 and will start from 10th.
Antonelli is joined by reigning world champion Lando Norris on the second row, with Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar locking out the third row for Red Bull.
NOTE: Grid remains provisional until officially confirmed by the FIA.
