First Surrey Urban Farmers market of the season

Surrey’s Urban Farmers Market kicked off for the season Saturday (June 13).
The market runs, rain or shine, every Saturday from June 13 until October 3 in the parking lot of Royal Kwantlen Park (13035 104 Ave) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“This vibrant farmers’ market is a multicultural, non-profit organization that honours local farmers, food producers, artisans, crafters, and community groups. Operated by a dedicated team of volunteers, our goal is to enhance our diverse community,” reads a post about the market on surreymarket.org.
About a dozen vendors were set up for the first market, selling everything from fresh Okanagan berries to cheesecake, plants and jewelry.
The market accepts BC Farmers Market Nutritional Coupons and Cards issued to lower-income families, pregnant people, and seniors.
