Lief Rodgers has a new team and, building off last season, some serious momentum. The Canadian soared to second place in Sunday’s Enduro World Cup, his career-best EDR result.
To do so, the B.C. racer battled some brutal conditions in Lenzerheide, with heavy mud making an absolute mess of some very rooty Austrian trails.
Canada’s Elly Hoskin and Rodger’s sister, Geza Rodgers, both finished inside the top 10 of the elite women’s race.

A career best result with a new team
“I’m so happy, it’s my best-ever World Cup result,” Rodgers said after the finish. That was a big turn-around for race day, the Canadian added. “I wasn’t feeling super confident after practice. But I kept it upright all day, I had some really sketchy moment, but I kept it upright. I’m really stoked.”
Rodgers couldn’t unseat Sławomir Łukasik (Yeti/Fox Factory Race Team), who takes Sunday’s win. With that, last year’s overall champ earns his first World Cup win of 2026.
WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series
On the women’s side, 19-year-old Winnifred Goldsbury stormed to a stunning win in the elite category.
“To win my first Elite World Cup here means so much to me,” said Goldsbury. “This is where I won my first Junior World Cup. Coming back here and doing that well is crazy for me.”
Last year’s overall champion, Ella Conolly takes second while Mélanie Pugin finishes third.
Canada’s defending world Champion, Elly Hoskin, followed close behind in fifth. Geza Rodgers, the younger sister of Lief, added another top 10 for the family, placing ninth.
