Police say the driver had missed a turn on the south side of Causley Street and was attempting to reverse into a business entrance when the incident occurred

BLIND RIVER — On Wednesday, June 10 at approximately 4:45 a.m., members of the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single commercial motor vehicle collision at the east end of Causley Street in the Town of Blind River.
Police attended and found a tractor-trailer in a ditch, partially blocking the roadway. Investigation determined the commercial motor vehicle driver had missed a turn on the south side of Causley Street and was attempting to reverse the tractor-trailer into a business entrance when the incident occurred.
As a result of the investigation, a 30-year-old driver from Brampton, Ontario, was issued the following Provincial Offence Notices and charged with:
Careless driving
Fail to surrender inspection schedule
