Police investigate suspected targeted shooting in Surrey

Surrey Police are investigating an early-morning targeted shooting in the City Centre neighbourhood.
Officers responded to a shooting in the area of Central Avenue and 133 Street around 2:04 a.m. Tuesday (June 16). Police found that an unoccupied vehicle had been damaged by gunfire.
Although the investigation is in the early stages, police believe that the shooting was targeted and “not extortion-related.”
SPS’s Major Crime Section (MCS) is investigating, and officers may be in the area on Tuesday to look for additional evidence.
