A pedestrian was left in critical condition after being struck by a city bus on Montreal’s South Shore on Tuesday evening.
According to police in Longueuil, Que., the collision occurred around 6:20 p.m. at the intersection of Taschereau Boulevard and St-Charles Road in Greenfield Park.
Images from the scene appear to show an electric wheelchair lodged against the front of the bus operated by the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL).
Police established a security perimeter and restricted traffic while investigators examined the scene. Motorists were asked to avoid the area.
